Our Staff Team

The CNCF staff is delighted to work together on God's calling into our lives, especially to serve Him in 'unwrapping' for others how to connect His money with His work.  Here's a little bit about each one of us so you can know us better:

Lorne Jackson - President

I was raised on a dairy farm near Winchester Ontario in the Ottawa Valley. Although it was hard work, I realized when I graduated school and moved away, the farm upbringing was good training in discipline and persistence. After many years in the life insurance business as a Branch Manager for one of Canada's largest Life Insurers, my wife and I purchased an Independent Financial Planning Company which grew from 65 financial planners to over 1000 planners across Canada in just a few years. In 2001, after 25 years in the financial services business, we sold this company, left the financial services business and felt led to create the Canadian National Christian Foundation (CNCF).

I am privileged to serve as its President today, having the opportunity of not only working with ministries and their donors, but also with Christian financial advisors who together with charity leaders help to connect God's money with God's work around the world. I enjoy the blessings of working with a team of professionals who all came from the financial services business and were in some way associated with our company in the 90's.

My God-given passion for giving and a growing understanding of God's call to stewardship led me to write and published a book on the subject,  After the Faith Decision… all else is Stewardship.  I have come to know that stewardship is not just about money or fundraising but is God's call to live our lives wholly (and holy) for Him.

Although officially retired I like to refer to this time in my life as being "rewired" - for the second half. I enjoy mentoring business and professional men as well as helping charities to raise funds. Doris and I recently celebrated forthy years of marriage and enjoy spending time with our two children and their spouses, and especially our three grandchildren.

Jan Kupecz - Executive Director

God has given me a passion for people. Whether in the business arena or personal setting, I truly get a kick of seeing people develop into the unique persons that God created them to be. I have enjoyed a widely varied career in business that has included a few years as a business owner as well as some time in sales and marketing, HR, communications and operations. In these varied roles I have worked in the financial services sector, the IT industry, the legal profession, communications industry and even the automobile industry. I have experienced the joy and challenge of leading several organizations through significant periods of change such as buy-outs and restructure and have seen God use those experiences for the Kingdom building work of CNCF. I have also trained as a business coach and have had the privilege of working with dedicated managers and leaders, helping them increase their job effectiveness and potential within their organizations.

Most recently I find God providing open doors for me to use my skills and talents to help ministries, charities and leaders become effective stewards in God's Kingdom. In my role as Executive Director of CNCF, I get to come to work everyday and participate with God in inviting His children to become His stewards and fulfill His work on His earth.

My husband Joe, a retired military pilot, and I live just outside Kemptville Ontario, love our local church body and enjoy family time with our children, their spouses and our delightful grandchildren.

Greta Luimes - Operations Manager

God led me to ask to join the team at the Canadian National Christian Foundation and ADVISORS with Purpose™ after 15 years as a Personal Financial Advisor. He had shown me clearly that I was to take my professional expertise out of an environment of business ownership and into a new place of service. My life experiences and Christian faith deepened my understanding that God owns everything; including my health, my possessions, my future and all of me. As I learned more about the world of personal finance, I developed a passion to share the many opportunities for generous giving with individuals who feel that God-given desire in their hearts. Maintaining a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) accreditation means I must continually update my technical knowledge.  As a member of the Canadian Association of Gift Planners (CAGP), I recently completed their most advanced course. My husband of thirty five years and I have been blessed with two children and two wonderful in-law children. We're privileged to cherish and spend lots of time with our three little grandchildren as well.

 Carol Beck - Executive Assistant

My journey to CNCF has been varied, eclectic and a lot of fun – beginning with graphic art and drafting in the oil industry in Calgary.  After my husband and I returned to the Ottawa area, where I had been raised on a dairy farm, we decided that I would step out of the paid work force to work at home as our three kids joined our family. This gave me the opportunity to do commissioned art work, be involved in children’s ministry, actively engage in various community initiatives and run an art program at our kids’ school.  When the time came to re-enter the workforce full-time, my desire was to be who God had made me to be, wherever He chose.  My natural passion is to understand who people are, to enable individuals with divergent perspectives to work together – and to positively influence every situation and encounter.  I am a facilitator and helper.  Only God could have known that the threads of art, facilitation training and administrative skills practiced in a community halls, school foyers, business meeting rooms, an engineering company, and a legal and actuarial firm,  could be woven together to serve Him with the team at CNCF.

It is exciting to be a member of a team that is building the Kingdom by enabling people to re-distribute the gifts God has given them -  to others in need.  My husband and I have been married 31 years and enjoy spending time with our children as they enter the various stages of adulthood through university, work and marriage.  I continue to create visual art, enjoy directing & performing drama at our church where we have been members for over 24 years, and savour every moment of being in nature at our cabin on a lake in Quebec, in the Ottawa Valley.
